This dining room design exudes warmth and sophistication with its neutral palette and natural textures. The rattan sideboard, with a sleek white dining table and cozy upholstered chairs, creates a welcoming space for gathering and dining.

This post is all about my cozy, neutral dining room design!
A few of my favorite parts about this dining room are the stunning dining table and rattan sideboard. They serve as the foundation for the entire design.
In this post, I’ve included links to everything in the design so that you can recreate the look in your home. First, I’ll go through the dining room furniture, and then I’ll go through the dining room decor.

Dining Table
This cream-white dining table is stunning. I like the sleek look and rounded edges. It seats 6-8 people, making it an ideal choice for a large dining room.
Upholstered Dining Chair
Upholstered dining chairs make any dining room feel instantly cozier. The neutral tones pair well with the cream-white dining table.
Buffet Sideboard
The Beautiful by Drew collection at Walmart is one of my favorites; her pieces are beautiful. This warm honey buffet sideboard adds helpful storage space to the dining room.
Area Rug
The textured pattern on this tufted area rug adds intrigue while maintaining the neutral aesthetic.
Curtain Panels
Simple white window curtains create a timeless look that I love every time.
When hanging curtains, I recommend hanging them at least a foot wider than the window frame and at least a foot above the window frame.
This means that when the curtains are open, each panel will fall outside the window frame, exposing the entire window and the most light to show through during the day.

Table Lamps
These table lamps create cozy lighting in the dining room, perfect for a relaxed dinner.
Floral Wall Art Set
These neutral wildflower floral canvas prints do a wonderful job of tying the room’s color palette together.
Tan Vase
For the sideboard decor, I chose this antique tan vase. It’s an excellent vessel for displaying different flower stems throughout the year.
Magnolia Branch Stem
For this mood board, I chose magnolia branch stems. The white, cream and brown color scheme pairs beautifully with the other elements in the room.
Full-Length Mirror
If you have the space for it, a full-length mirror is an excellent choice for the dining room. It will make the room feel brighter and larger.
Floor Lamp
For more cozy lighting, set a floor lamp next to the mirror.
Ottoman
This cute ottoman rounds out the mirror styling and provides a tiny bit of extra storage space.
