Cozy White & Green Farmhouse Kitchen Design
This mood board is for a cozy, updated kitchen that mixes warm wood cabinets with crisp white pieces and deep green seating for that “classic but not boring” vibe.

For this kitchen mood board, I started with the big “anchoring” pieces: warm wood cabinetry and a clean white island to keep everything feeling bright and balanced.
Then I layered in those rich green stools for personality, added simple shelves and a pretty light fixture to draw your eye upward, and finished it off with cozy styling (like the runner and countertop pieces) so it feels lived-in, not staged.
In this post, I’ve included links to all the elements in the designs so that you can recreate the look in your own home. The furniture and decor in this mood board are from Wayfair. The paint colors are from Benjamin Moore.

Room Design
Choosing a paint color can be one of the most challenging aspects of designing a room. Here are four Benjamin Moore paint color options to give you an idea of how the room could look with different wall colors.
White Cabinet
This piece gives you that “pretty storage” moment where you can show off dishes, cookbooks, or baskets. The white finish brightens the room, while the glass keeps it from feeling heavy.
Cabinet Door Sample
These cabinets bring in that rich, grounded look that instantly makes the kitchen feel cozy and established. I love how they keep the space from feeling too stark, especially paired with all the white elements.
Runner Rug
A runner like this adds softness and texture. It also helps pull the seating area and cabinetry together so everything feels connected.
Green Upholstered Barstools
These stools are the fun part of the room—bold enough to stand out, but still totally timeless. The green adds depth and makes the kitchen feel more inviting and less “all neutral, all the time.”
White Kitchen Island
The island is the crisp, clean counterbalance to the warm cabinetry, keeping the whole room from feeling too dark. Those brass pulls tie in with the faucet so the metals feel matched on purpose.
Kitchen Curtains
The window keeps the space feeling airy and open, and that short curtain adds charm without blocking the light. I like that it feels sweet and homey, but still practical for a kitchen.
Farmhouse Sink
This sink is such a classic choice, and it gives the kitchen that “I bake pies on weekends” energy—even if you’re actually reheating leftovers. It also looks amazing against the warm cabinets and soft backsplash.
Wood Floating Shelves
A simple shelf like this is perfect for adding warmth and styling without cluttering your counters. It’s also an easy way to sprinkle in everyday items you actually use.
Green Backsplash
This backsplash adds a subtle pattern without stealing the show, which is exactly what you want behind a sink and counters. It ties the whole palette together and makes the kitchen feel polished in a low-key way.
Cutting Boards
These pieces make the kitchen feel warm and real, like someone actually cooks here. I like how they add height, shape, and a little personality without looking cluttered.
Textured Vase
Greenery is my favorite shortcut for making any space feel fresh and welcoming.
Green Utensil Holder
It’s so convenient to keep your most-used utensils on the counter next to the stove. With this cute green utensil holder, you can do this while still keeping the kitchen looking styled.
Light Fixture
This light fixture brings in a little drama (in a good way) and helps the kitchen feel more finished. I love that it adds character while still fitting the cozy, classic look.
Dinnerware
This dinnerware set is a great choice for this kitchen. It’s neutral with a bit of textured detail.
Paint Color Matches
The Benjamin Moore paint color matches for these rooms are:
- Chantilly Lace
- Kitten Whiskers
- Firewood
- Fieldstone
