I centered this kitchen design around a gorgeous dark brown kitchen island. The deep browns paired with the cream and green tones are a beautiful contrast.
A few of my favorite parts about this kitchen design are the brown kitchen island and the cozy wall decor piece.
In this post, I’ve included links to everything in the design so that you can recreate the look in your home. First, I’ll go through the kitchen furniture and decor, and then I’ll go through the cooking accessories.

Kitchen Curtains
One of my favorite additions to my kitchen was the addition of kitchen curtains. They soften the space and make it feel more homey.
Kitchen Wall Art
Sometimes kitchen-specific wall art can feel overdone or tacky, but this canvas wall art is absolutely gorgeous.
You can tell it was designed for the kitchen, but it looks so natural, and the dark brown tones pair beautifully with the kitchen island and pantry.
Kitchen Pantry
It seems like you can never get enough storage space in the kitchen. A great way to get more space is with a free-standing kitchen pantry.
This tall pantry takes advantage of vertical space and does not take up a large footprint in your kitchen.
Ceramic Decorative Vase
The brown and cream tones in this decorative jar/vase do an excellent job of tying in the colors used throughout the design.
Kitchen Mat
An anti-fatigue kitchen mat is an absolute must-have for me in my kitchen. My feet are really sensitive to hard flooring, and cushioned mats make all the difference.
If you look closely, you’ll see beautiful detailing embedded into this kitchen mat. This detailing made it stand out to me over some of the plain kitchen mats on the market.
Pendant Light
Pendant lighting is a great choice for above kitchen islands. I like the sleek, elegant look of this pendant light!
Kitchen Island
As I mentioned earlier, this kitchen island is one of my absolute favorite parts of this design.
It’s a free-standing kitchen island, so you don’t have to adhere it to the flooring – perfect for apartments or rentals.
It has built-in storage shelves throughout the island, making it practical and beautiful. I always say you can never have too much counter space.

Kitchen Baking Pan Set
This is a great baking set for the kitchen. Perfect for making muffins, cookies, and cakes!
Stoneware Bakeware Set
When I came across this stoneware bakeware set, I immediately fell in love with the earthy-colored tones in each piece.
Utensil Set
I love a good set of matching utensils. This one comes with a decorative jar to display all the utensils on the counter.
One of the best ways to reduce clutter in the kitchen is to make your everyday items double as decor.
Cookware Set
I never would have thought to search for a “mushroom grey” cookware set, but I’m sure glad I came across this one!
The muted earthy colored tones work well in this kitchen!
Green Dish Cloth
I chose olive green dish towels to help some of the green tones throughout this kitchen design stand out. They help make green one of the defining colors of the room.
