Living rooms are one of my favorite rooms to design. It’s often the room that people spend the most time in, and I love pulling together unique, cozy, beautiful spaces that look great and are functional to live in every day.

I rounded up some of my favorite living rooms that I’ve designed so that you can browse them all and hopefully find the perfect fit for your home!

I’ve included links to all the elements in the designs so that you can recreate any of the looks in your own home.

Living Room Designs

1. A neutral living room centered around a cream sofa and matching accent chairs, with a chandelier overhead and a lovely arched built-in that ties the whole look together.

2. This living room has such a romantic, collected feel — the dark tufted sofas are the star, layered with a gallery wall, an olive tree, and soft curtains that frame the window.

3. A deep navy sofa against light natural textures gives this living room a really striking contrast. The rattan area rug and warm wood tones keep it grounded.

4. The sectional sofa in this one is such a great anchor for the space, and those curved accent chairs add just the right amount of softness. The warm pendant lighting pulls it all together.

5. A classic, timeless living room — the upholstered sectional and swivel chairs feel approachable and comfortable, and the dark cabinet gives it a really nice focal point.

6. Earthy and a little dramatic — that textured console behind the sofa is unexpected and really works. The mix of textures in this design gives it a cozy, lived-in feel.

7. Clean, calm, and quietly elegant. The cream sofa and neutral rug tie in really well to the horse wall decor, and the overall vibe is very serene.

8. Can we talk about that arched cabinet for a second? It makes such a statement in this moody, earth-toned living room.

9. A bright and airy living room with a cloud-like sectional that looks so comfy. The warm wood media console keeps it from feeling too stark.

12. Dark green sofas are having a moment, and this mood board nails it. The lighter rugs and natural wood console balance out the deep color perfectly.

13. The round coffee table in this one is such a nice piece — it softens the space and works really well with the patterned rug and light linen sofa combo.

14. Blues and grays done right. The navy accent chairs pop against the cream sectional, and the whole thing feels casual but put-together.

15. A soft, sophisticated living room with a gorgeous mix of light blue and ivory upholstery. The curved chairs and fluffy blanket make it look incredibly comfortable.

16. Rich cognac leather and wood tones make this living room feel warm and a little vintage. The teal nightstand accents are a fun, unexpected pop of color.
