This post is all about my modern black boho entryway idea. When I design an entryway, I like to make the space both functional and visually appealing. I had a small entryway in mind when I created this mood board.
The narrow entryway table doesn’t take up too much space, and there is room underneath the table for storing some ottoman poufs. I hope that you find some entryway inspiration and ideas from this design!
Welcome to a world where functionality meets aesthetic appeal โ your entryway. The entryway is an often overlooked space that can set the tone for your entire home, making it a great way to curate a welcoming and stylish atmosphere.
In this blog post, I’ll tell you about my modern black boho entryway design, where I include the links to help you recreate the look effortlessly in your home.
From the sleek black console table to the intricate details of the modern farmhouse vases, this design perfectly blends sophistication and warmth.

The Black Entryway Table: A Stylish Foundation
My design begins with a solid pine wood console table. This narrow, space-saving piece measures 12″ D x 46.25″ W x 32″ H, making it ideal for even the smallest entryways.
Its traditional design has bold lines and a beautiful neutral finish, offering a versatile canvas for your decor creativity. The narrow shape ensures it doesn’t overwhelm the space, making it an ideal fit for those looking to make a statement in a limited area.
Please note that the black variant is out of stock; however, I have linked the walnut color variation. Check the listing to see if the black variant is back in stock.
Cylindrical Pouf Ottomans: Comfortable and Stylish
Directly underneath the black console table sit two cylindrical pouf ottomans. When I design an entryway, I love incorporating poufs underneath the entryway table.
They provide extra seating or footrests for guests and a dedicated spot underneath the console table so as not to create clutter. These versatile pieces are 14.5″ D x 14.5″ W x 16″ H and effortlessly combine neutral and black tones, adding depth and texture to the entryway.
Not only do they contribute to the aesthetic, but they also offer practical seating options for putting on or taking off shoes.
Black Entryway Mirror: Reflecting Elegance
I chose a black rectangular wall-mount mirror for use above the black entryway table. This mirror adds depth to the space and reflects the elegance of the surrounding decor.
Its sleek design complements the traditional lines of the table while creating the illusion of a larger, more open entryway. Plus, if you’re anything like me, you probably appreciate being able to do one final hair and makeup check before running out the door.
Modern Farmhouse Vases: A Touch of Nature
The fun part about decorating an entryway table is the table decor! These modern farmhouse vases are beautiful additions to this entryway design. These ceramic vases in varying shades of dark gray, light gray, and light pink bring a touch of nature indoors.
Their unique shapes and earthy tones add visual interest and complement the neutral palette of the entryway, creating a harmonious balance between modern and rustic elements.
If you want to take it another step further, you could add a few stems of a plant to each vase. Artificial pampas grass would look beautiful with these vases.
Amber Battery Operated Table Lamp: Warmth Without Wires
In an effort to add a cozy feeling to your entryway, I chose an amber battery-operated table lamp that will allow you to illuminate your entryway.
With a convenient timer feature, this cordless lamp eliminates the need for unsightly cords, offering a clean and clutter-free look. The warm amber glow adds a cozy ambiance, welcoming you and your guests into the home with a touch of sophistication.
Lifelike Sansevieria Plant: Greenery Without the Hassle
Next to the entryway table stands a lifelike 35″ Sansevieria plant in a black planter. This artificial plant brings a burst of greenery to the entryway.
The realistic design and black planter add a natural touch, creating a refreshing and inviting atmosphere. Artificial plants are a fantastic way to make any space feel more put together and intentional.
