Sage and Golden Autumn Living Room Design
This post is all about my Autumn living room design.

This living room is giving cozy autumn softness with creamy neutrals, chunky sage green knits, and pops of rust and mustard that make the whole space feel like fall!
Have you ever wondered what your home decor style is?
I built the design around the gorgeous Autumn-themed canvas wall art. It has such pretty yellow and orange tones that remind me of a happy fall day. Making a living room feel like fall doesn’t take much; a few nice throw pillows and a vase of fall leaves do just the trick.
I’ve linked everything you see in the design below so you can shop the look and bring it to life in your own home. The furniture and decor pieces are from Wayfair, and I’ve also paired four Benjamin Moore paint colors that work beautifully with this room — scroll down to the bottom to see the design with each color on the walls!

Curtains
These flowy white curtains let in so much natural light while still framing the windows beautifully. They keep the room feeling bright even with all the deeper, moodier tones layered in.
Area Rug
This textured, neutral rug anchors the whole seating area without competing with the rest of the room.
Throw Blanket
This oversized chunky knit blanket in sage green is one of my favorite parts of this fall decor collection. It adds so much cozy texture and that gorgeous muted green that balances out all the warm tones.
Yellow Flower Pillow
This cute yellow flower pillow is such a fun statement piece and I couldn’t resist adding it in. It brings a playful, textural pop that makes the whole pillow arrangement feel curated.
Yellow Square Pillow
This soft yellow pillow picks up on some of the yellow tones in the canvas wall art.
Rust Pillow

Textured Beige Pillow
I love the playful fringe edge on this one because it softens up the whole pillow lineup and kind of reminds me of fall leaves.
Textured Vase
This simple, earthy vase is exactly the kind of understated piece I gravitate toward for styling a coffee table. Its soft, organic shape feels effortless and lets the stems inside really shine.
Fall Floral Stems
These rust and orange toned stems add height and a little seasonal feel to the coffee table . They’re such a simple way to bring in more of that autumn color story.
Decorative Woven Tray
This little woven tray on the coffee table is such an easy way to add a natural, textural element to the styling. I love using trays like this to corral smaller decor pieces and keep the tabletop looking put-together.
Coffee Table
I’m always drawn to a coffee table with built-in storage, and this one with its two drawers is both functional and beautiful. The warm wood tone grounds the whole room and pairs so well with the lighter rug underneath.
