Bold Round Black Table Dining Room Design

This post is all about my dining room design.

I designed this dining room around the round black table and deep brown dining chairs. It ended up having such a cozy, moody look. The wall art pulls from all the colors throughout the room. I love how it came together!

This chandelier has the prettiest warm brass finish with little white shades that give off such a soft, flattering light. It’s classic and it ties in beautifully with the other colors in the room.

These stems look beautiful in the vase and the neutral color works year-round.

This textured vase is such a simple but perfect centerpiece. It adds a little organic, lived-in feel right in the middle of the table.

The fluted ceramic planter is such a nice detail that makes the tree really stand out.

This tall leafy plant brings some much-needed life and texture into the corner of the room. It also fits the moody vibe.

This rug has the perfect worn-in, vintage-inspired look that grounds the whole space. The neutral tones let the black table and olive chairs really stand out while still tying everything together.

These flowy curtains soften the whole room and let in just the right amount of natural light. I love how they puddle slightly at the bottom for a more relaxed, collected look.

This table is the star of the whole room with its sculptural X-base and bold black finish. It anchors the space and gives it that grown-up, moody feel.

These chairs have the coziest curved backs and the richest brown-olive color I’ve seen in a while. They soften up all that black in the room and look like they’d be so comfortable to sit in for a long dinner.

This moody landscape painting adds so much character to the space with its soft greens and blues. It brings in a little old-world charm and gives the eye somewhere to land above the table.
