I created this living room mood board with an emerald green sofa and sideboard as the focal points. The bold green is toned down by the beige and cream color scheme of the other living room decor, including cream window curtains, a gray oak coffee table, and end tables. I incorporated other decorative elements, from the ceramic vases and table lamp to the bamboo coffee table tray.

Emerald Green Sofa

Let’s talk about this amazing green modular sectional sofa. First of all, the color is striking; it’s exactly what comes to mind when I think of emerald green. This sofa is an oversized sectional couch that is made up of multiple individual modules that you can arrange into various shapes, such as a U-shape, L-shape, or a 4-seater sofa with double ottomans. To make it even better, there are storage spaces under each seat.

Cream Curtains

Incorporating quality window curtains is one of the best ways to make a living room feel elegant and styled. These cream-beige window drapes pair really well with the rest of the neutral decor in the room. I love the room darkening feature – you can draw the curtains and watch a movie in the middle of the day.

Gray Oak Coffee Table and End Tables

I selected a matching gray oak coffee table and end tables for this living room mood board for a few reasons. The round coffee table works really well with the U-shaped couch. The natural color brings an earthy vibe to the room that complements the green on the sofa.

These pedestal end tables are beautiful and the perfect place to put a table lamp or decorative books or to use as a place to put down a drink or snack.

I am completely obsessed with this green sideboard. Not only does it go really well with the green couch, but it is also a statement piece in and of itself. It’s a great way to incorporate the green theme throughout the room, not just with the sofa.

Landscape Wall Art

This set of pastel green abstract lake landscape canvas wall art prints is perfect for above the sideboard. They contain the colors used throughout the living room and add a serene and tranquil vibe to the space, evoking a sense of calm reminiscent of a peaceful lakeside.

Ceramic Vases

These ceramic vases can be used on top of the sideboard with a few simple stems. They come in a 12″ or 16″ size. You can get both sizes and use them next to each other with coordinating greenery or flower stems.

Blanket Basket

I chose this large cotton rope basket as an additional decorative element and a storage feature for the room. Store extra throw blankets and pillows here to help remove clutter on top of the sofa and have them readily available to cozy up on a cold day.

Wall Decor

One of the most difficult living room decor decisions is how to fill large empty wall space. This carved arabesque floral wall decor is a great option for this living room design. Depending on how much wall space you have, you can use 1-3 of these hung next to each other either horizontally or vertically.

Area Rug

Finally, we have this stunning oriental area rug. A large area rug is a great way to define the living room space. I chose this neutral-colored rug to avoid competing with the bold green of the sofa. The colors in this rug are incorporated throughout the other living room decorations.
