Soft Pink and Blue Tween Girl Room Design
This post is all about my tween girl room design.

This soft pink-and-blue tween girl’s bedroom is giving dreamy, girly-but-not-too-girly vibes. For this design, I started with a neutral base with a white bed, matching wooden dresser and nightstands, and a white arched bookshelf.
Have you ever wondered what your home decor style is?
From there, I layered in various blue and pink elements, like the blue accent chair and the cozy pink throw. This is a fun room idea for tween girls that can grow with them through their teenage years!
I’ve linked everything you see in the design below so you can shop the look and bring it to life in your own home. The furniture and decor pieces are from Wayfair, and I’ve also paired four Benjamin Moore paint colors that work beautifully with this room — scroll down to the bottom to see the design with each color on the walls!

White Upholstered Bed
This upholstered bed is great for a kid’s room because it has extra hidden storage. The neutral color scheme means it’ll work with any decor changes you make over the years!
Curtains
These floor-length curtains add a soft, neutral backdrop that lets the pinks and blues in the room really pop. They also do a great job of softening the window and making the whole space feel more finished.
Pink Throw Blanket
This chunky ribbed pink throw is easily one of my favorite pieces in the whole design. It adds so much texture and warmth, and it just looks so inviting draped across the bed.
Bedding Set
A neutral bedding set is the perfect foundation for incorporating pops of color through throw pillows and blankets.
Blue Throw Pillows
These matching ruffled pillows add even more of that soft, romantic texture to the bed. They’re the kind of detail that makes a bed look extra put together.
Pink and Blue Pillow
This little floral pillow mixes pink and blue right in one spot, tying the whole bedding story together. It’s a small piece, but it does a lot of visual work.
Blue Lamp
This soft blue lamp with its classic white shade adds a cozy glow to the dresser top.
Scalloped Floor Lamp
This pleated floor lamp with its brass base adds height and warmth to the reading corner. The gold tone ties in beautifully with the other metal accents in the room.
Pink Wall Sconces
This little sconce, with its pink, ruffled glass shade, is such a sweet detail next to the bed. It adds soft lighting and a bit of whimsy without taking up any nightstand space.
Floral Wall Art Prints
This set of botanical prints brings in soft pinks, blues, and purples that tie right into the room’s color palette. I love how they add a grown-up, gallery-wall feel above the bed. Since it’s a pack of 4, you can scatter them throughout the room or hang them together.
Round Pink Mirror
This round mirror with its pink pom-pom trim is such a playful, girly touch. It’s a great spot for her to check her outfit before heading out the door.
Dresser and Nightstand Set
These matching dresser and nightstands have woven drawer fronts that add a nice textural contrast to the smooth wood frame.
Blue Accent Chair
This dusty blue swivel chair is the perfect piece for a cozy reading nook in the corner. It’s comfortable enough for her to curl up in but still fits the room’s overall color scheme.
Area Rug
This oversized pink rug anchors the whole room. The subtle pattern keeps it interesting without competing with the other pieces.
White Arched Bookcase
This tall arched bookcase is such a statement piece with its curved top and two drawers at the bottom for extra storage. I love that it gives her a spot to display trophies, books, and little keepsakes while still keeping the room tidy.
Paint Color Matches
Choosing a paint color can be one of the most challenging aspects of designing a room. Here are four Benjamin Moore paint color options to give you an idea of how the room could look with different wall colors.
The Benjamin Moore paint color matches for these rooms are:
- Harwood Putty
- Kangaroo
- Petunia Pink
- Instinct
