This post is all about my fall bedroom design.

Cozy Fall Farmhouse Bedroom Design

The bedroom is such a fun room to decorate for fall, and it can be really easy to do with just a few simple swaps. Add a few fall-colored throw pillows and blankets, and swap out your everyday wall art for a cozy fall piece. Finally, sprinkle in some fall leaves and stems.

Have you ever wondered what your home decor style is?

I’ve linked everything you see in the design below so you can shop the look and bring it to life in your own home. The furniture and decor pieces are from Wayfair, and I’ve also paired four Benjamin Moore paint colors that work beautifully with this room — scroll down to the bottom to see the design with each color on the walls!

Textured Tree Planter

This cute planter pot is a fun choice for the fall tree. Its neutral color scheme keeps the focus on the gorgeous fall leaves, and the planter legs raise it up a few inches to make the tree look slightly taller.

Curtains

These flowy cream curtains soften up the whole window and let in just the right amount of light. I love how they look pooling slightly at the floor or just brushing it.

Farmhouse Dresser

This dresser is such a workhorse piece, and I love the warmth it brings to the room. It has just enough vintage character to feel special without looking dated.

Nightstand

This nightstand has such a sweet, slightly vintage silhouette that I couldn’t resist for this room. The white finish keeps things light and airy even with so many warm tones surrounding it.

Armchair

I added this chair as a little reading nook moment in the corner, and I love how inviting it looks. The neutral cream color keeps it versatile while still giving the room a cozy little focal point. Plus, who doesn’t love curling up with a book and a cup of coffee in the fall?

Cream Lumbar Pillow

I added this simple cream lumbar pillow to break up all the patterns and colors on the other pillows and throw.

Floral Throw Pillow

These printed pillows tie in the same tones as the rug, which is a little trick I love using to make a room feel pulled together. They add pattern without feeling busy or overdone.

Scalloped Fall Pillow

These gold pillows were non-negotiable for me once I decided on the rust throw — they warm up the whole bed. I love how they bridge the cream bedding and the deeper rust and brown accents in the room.

Brown Throw Blanket

Draping this throw over the chair was one of my favorite finishing touches in the room. It adds the deepest, richest tone in the space and makes that corner look impossibly cozy.

Fall Throw Blanket

This is the piece that started it all for me. The chunky texture makes it feel so cozy and instantly reads “fall” the second you walk in the room.

Neutral Bedding Set

I wanted the bedding itself to stay simple so all the layered textures could stand out, and this subtle bedding does just that. It’s the perfect quiet backdrop for everything else happening on the bed.

Upholstered Bed

This bed is the true anchor of the room. The soft neutral upholstery lets all the layered bedding really shine.

Fall Wall Art

This framed piece feels like something you’d find in your grandmother’s house, in the best possible way. It brings in warm, moody color that echoes the rest of the palette.

Decorative Red Pumpkin

This cute pumpkin is so fun. I love that it’s designed to be displayed on its side. It makes it different from the millions of other decorative pumpkins out there.

Textured Pumpkin Decor

I’m obsessed with texture, which is why I fell in love with this pumpkin as soon as I saw it!

Fall Stems

These fall stems look beautiful in the textured vase!

Textured Vase

This little vase adds one more soft, organic look on the dresser without taking up much visual space.

Table Lamp

I used this same lamp style on both the nightstand and the dresser to create a little visual rhythm throughout the room. The cream shades and neutral ceramic bases keep them from competing with the busier textiles around them.

Area Rug

This rug is doing so much heavy lifting in this room, tying together every warm tone from the pillows to the dresser. The slightly worn-in pattern makes the whole space feel lived-in and cozy instead of too new and stiff.

Autumn Tree

Why not bring those beautiful autumn leaves inside? This cute little tree makes it feel like fall indoors!

Conclusion

I love how cozy this room turned out, and I hope it gives you some ideas for your own space this season! There’s something about mixing those warm rust and mustard tones with soft neutrals that just feels right once the temperature drops.

I hope these mood boards helped inspire your decorating journey and that you found something that will work well in your home. Be sure to check out my other mood boards or submit a custom room design request form!
