This post is all about my adorable fox themed nursery room design! This nursery idea is full of warm colors, making it a cozy nursery for your little one. I’ve included all the links so that you can shop the look for your home!
There are so many different themes to choose from when it comes to nurseries. I think that one of the cutest options is a fox themed nursery.
Something about these little woodland creatures makes a room feel warm and inviting. To lean into this atmosphere, I chose a matching chestnut wood crib and dresser for the design.
These furniture pieces work together with the fox decor to create a truly cozy nursery.
Fox Nursery Decor
In the sections below, I have included all of the fox nursery decor that I used to create this room design. I’ll give a little explanation about each item and why I chose them for this room. Let’s get into it!

Cute Fox Themed Rug
The true focal point of my fox nursery idea is this fox nursery rug. It features the most adorable little playful foxes adorned with and surrounded by flowers in varying shades of pink.
The flowers enhance the whimsical atmosphere created by the fox decorations. This fox themed rug is extra special to me because it is actually one of the rug designs from my shop.
Fox Nursery Wall Decor
Next we have a cute little fox shaped wire wall decoration with a copper finish. This little guy would be cut on its own, or you could get multiple and arrange them around the room or all together.
I love the copper finish on this fox. It is a warm tone that works well with the rest of the design.
Soft Fox Toy
It’s always an added bonus when baby toys can double as nursery decor pieces. This soft little fox toy is sure to be one of your baby’s favorite toys. As your baby grows, it will be a reminder of the fun fox nursery from when they were small.
Aesthetic Nursery Storage
I included this 3-tier woven over-the-door hanging basket for a couple of reasons. First, I love the texture that it adds to the room.
Second, I wanted to add some extra easy-access storage. In my daughter’s nursery, I have an over-the-door hanging basket system, and it has been invaluable to me.
I keep a handful of diapers, wipes, thermometers, and other essentials that I might need quick and easy access to. Plus, the contents in the baskets can change as your baby grows, and eventually, the baskets can be used for toys, notebooks, and all your child’s favorite things.
Fox Wall Decal
It’s fun to create a statement wall in a nursery; it immediately draws attention and adds character.
One way to do this, without having to put the effort into hanging wallpaper or painting, is to use wall decals. This watercolor fox wall decal is perfect for this nursery room.
Fox Nursery Lamp
Since I included a beautiful, large dresser in this nursery idea, I wanted to add some table decor that you can use on top of the dresser.
This fox table lamp would pair perfectly with the chestnut dresser. It provides some soft lighting that you can use as you are trying to change a middle-of-the-night diaper or when you just want a relaxing environment during a feeding.
Woodland Nursery Decor Blocks
Another cute table decor piece that doubles as one of the baby’s first toys is this set of boho woodland animals nursery decor blocks.
As your baby gets older, they will love looking at the different pictures on the blocks and stacking them on top of each other.
Matching Chestnut Crib and Dresser
Last but not least, we have the matching chestnut crib and dresser. The crib is a 4-in-1 convertible crib that can grow with your baby.
The dresser has 6 drawers, providing ample storage space for baby clothes, pajamas, and other essentials. The large space on top of the dresser would be perfectly suited for use as a changing table.
Simply get a contoured changing pad (linked below) and changing pad cover. You can store diapers, wipes, and diaper cream inside the top drawer of the dresser for easy, organized access.
