This post is all about my Christmas mantel design.

Classic Gold and Green Winter Village Christmas Mantel Design

This Christmas mantel is giving cozy, old-fashioned holiday magic with cream stockings with sweet bows, antique gold bells, a little white village, and a nutcracker standing guard by the fire.

Have you ever wondered what your home decor style is?

I’ve linked everything you see in the design below so you can shop the look and bring it to life in your own home. The furniture and decor pieces are from Wayfair, and I’ve also paired four Benjamin Moore paint colors that work beautifully with this room — scroll down to the bottom to see the design with each color on the walls!

Christmas Bells

This cluster of bells in different sizes gives the mantel a warm, old-world feel.

Oversized Nutcracker

This big nutcracker standing beside the fireplace is a total showstopper and instantly makes the space feel like Christmas. The silver and gold coloring keeps it elegant.

Cream Stockings With Bow

These chunky cream stockings are so cozy, and the soft tan bows on top are just the sweetest detail. They keep the look light and neutral, which I love next to all that green.

Cute Cone Christmas Tree

This sparkly tree catches the light so beautifully and adds a fun bit of glam to one end of the mantel. It balances out the bells on the other side, so the whole arrangement feels even.

Bird Stocking Holders

These little gold birds stocking holders are such a fun detail. They add a bit of vintage sparkle and keep the stockings looking polished.

White Fireplace

This clean white fireplace is the perfect blank canvas for holiday decorating, and the glowing fire makes everything feel extra cozy. The simple trim lets the garland and stockings shine without competing with them.

Christmas Village Figurines

These little white houses lined up along the mantel are pure charm and echo the house in the painting so nicely. They’re simple enough to stay classy but still bring that cozy Christmas village feel.

Wall Art

This dreamy painting of a snowy road leading to a little white house is what pulled the whole mantel together for me. The soft greens and whites feel peaceful, and the gold frame is perfect for Christmas.

Garland

This long, drapey garland spills over the mantel and down the sides in the prettiest way. The little pinecones tucked throughout make it feel like you just brought it in from the woods.

Lantern

These two lanterns grouped by the hearth add the coziest glow at floor level. The warm, rustic tone softens all the shine from the gold pieces.

Candlesticks

These tall taper candles add height and that soft, candlelit glow I can’t get enough of in December.

Mini Nutcracker

This little gold nutcracker standing on the mantel is such a cute nod to tradition. It pairs beautifully with the Christmas bells.

Paint Color Matches

Choosing a paint color can be one of the most challenging aspects of designing a room. Here are four Benjamin Moore paint color options to give you an idea of how the room could look with different wall colors.

The Benjamin Moore paint color matches for this room are:

  • Paper White
  • Chocolate Mousse
  • Maple Valley
  • Windsor Green
