This post is all about my baby girl nursery design.

Whimsical Woodland Baby Girl Nursery Idea

This baby girl nursery design has a calm, whimsical feel. I chose a matching crib and dresser as well as matching light fixtures throughout the room. Then layered in some pretty pink tones and playful decor.

Have you ever wondered what your home decor style is?

I’ve linked everything you see in the design below so you can shop the look and bring it to life in your own home. The furniture and decor pieces are from Crate & Barrel Kids, and I’ve also paired four Benjamin Moore paint colors that work beautifully with this room — scroll down to the bottom to see the design with each color on the walls!

Curtains

These soft pink curtains with tie tops let in so much pretty, filtered light. They add just enough pattern and color to feel girly without overwhelming the rest of the room.

Pink Round Mirror

This round mirror is framed in a ring of blush flowers and leaves, and it’s so dreamy. It adds a sweet focal point to the wall and beautifully bounces light around the room.

Bunny Wall Decor

This sweet white bunny head with its little pink ears is pure whimsy. I love it as a playful nod to the woodland theme, and it also happens to look adorable above the crib.

Nursing Chair

This cream wingback rocker looks so cozy, with clean curves and natural rockers underneath. It’s exactly the kind of chair I’d want for long nights of snuggles and feedings.

Fitted Sheet

A cute fitted sheet to match the room.

Baby Blanket

This white quilt is covered in bunnies, a fox, a deer, and the prettiest little wildflowers. It’s basically the inspiration for the entire nursery, and I love it draped over the crib rail.

Table Lamp

This little lamp has a creamy base and a scalloped natural shade that feels so sweet and playful. It looks great on top of the dresser for soft light during diaper changes.

House-Shaped Wall Shelves

These little house-shaped shelves are the cutest way to show off tiny books, folded blankets, and sweet keepsakes. They add a playful, dollhouse feel to the wall without taking up any floor space.

Area Rug

This soft gray rug is scattered with tiny golden flower sprigs that feel so delicate and charming. It grounds the room with a calm neutral while still tying in that garden theme.

Crib

This light, natural-toned crib has classic spindles and those chunky round feet that I just can’t get enough of. It feels timeless and cozy, anchoring the whole look.

Dresser

This wide dresser matches the crib with its rounded edges and those same cute bun feet. It’s got tons of storage for tiny clothes and doubles as a changing station, which is a total win.

Floor Lamp

This slim gold floor lamp with its fluffy, fringed natural shade is perfect for a reading corner. It gives off a warm, soft glow for bedtime stories.

Chandelier

This chandelier has five little textured shades on brushed gold arms, and it’s easily one of my favorite pieces in the room. It feels a bit vintage and a bit garden party, which is exactly the mood I wanted.

Paint Color Matches

Choosing a paint color can be one of the most challenging aspects of designing a room. Here are four Benjamin Moore paint color options to give you an idea of how the room could look with different wall colors.

The Benjamin Moore paint color matches for this room are:

  • Dove Wing
  • Misty Blush
  • Twilight Gold
  • Rockport Gray
