Navy Blue Outer Space Baby Boy Nursery Room Idea

This post is all about my baby boy nursery room design.

How fun is this baby boy nursery?! The outer space theme is such a hit with little ones, and the blue color palette adds to that outer space feel. I can’t believe how cool the rocket ship basket is. This is a fun room design for baby through toddler years.

I’ve linked everything you see in the design below so you can shop the look and bring it to life in your own home. The furniture and decor pieces are from Crate & Barrel Kids, and I’ve also paired four Benjamin Moore paint colors that work beautifully with this room — scroll down to the bottom to see the design with each color on the walls!

This modern crib in a deep navy finish has clean lines and simple slats. It feels cozy and grounded, like the night sky right in the middle of the room.

This cozy navy swivel chair has a soft, deep seat that’s perfect for snuggles. It’s roomy enough for feedings now and story time later.

This white quilt is covered in planets, stars, and little labels, and can be personalized. I love how personal it feels, and it’s basically a mini astronomy lesson too.

A fitted sheet to match the room’s theme!

This woven basket shaped like a rocket ship is honestly the cutest storage ever. It’s perfect for stuffed animals and adds such a fun, playful statement to the room.

This creamy rug is covered in little moon phases in soft blue, pink, and green. It feels gentle and whimsical and grounds the room with tons of charm.

These light blue checked curtains add a soft, classic pattern to the room. They brighten up the window and help balance all the deeper navy tones.

This round pillow looks like a little planet Earth in soft blue and white. It’s such a cute detail that ties right into the space theme.

This light blue dome pendant has tiny dotted cutouts that let little specks of light shine through. It’s like having a sprinkle of stars on the ceiling, and I think that’s just magical.

This navy dresser has three drawers, a cabinet door, and sleek gold pulls. It matches the crib perfectly and offers plenty of storage for all the little things.

This hanging mobile has little planets and smiling stars in soft blues, greens, and golds. I love how it gives your baby something dreamy to gaze at as they drift off to sleep.

This navy baby seat has a play tray covered in planets, stars, and fun textures. It gives little ones a cozy spot to sit up and play.

This framed print shows planets dressed up as ice cream cones, and it cracks me up in the best way. It’s so playful and adds a happy pop of color to the wall.

This framed print has a warm orange sun with little rays around it. It brings a cheerful glow to the dresser and balances out all the cool blues.

This simple round mirror has a thin natural frame that adds warmth above the dresser. It bounces light around the room and keeps things feeling bright.

This cream lamp has a speckled, rounded base and a simple drum shade. It gives off a soft glow that’s perfect for late-night diaper changes.
